Gunns want a sucker to finance the worlds largest pulp mill on an island half the size of the South Island of New Zealand and only 900 metres from people's homes. Gunns want to destroy the Tamar Valley tourist attractions. They are trying to use force to transfer our assets to their shareholders. Gunns will never get a social license for this abuse.

The land Gunns wants to use for their proposed pulp mill was given to RioTinto Alcan by the people of Tasmania as a 'buffer zone' in the 1950's. Now they have re-sold our land to Gunns. Giddings is obsessed with allowing foreigners to own Tasmania. She would rather shut down hospitals than stop bankrolling Gunns overseas shareholders.
